Covering All the Bases and Finishing Well
Robby Williams is the founding pastor of Multiply Church, a church plant in the Flowery Branch/Braselton community that launched in March 2018. He is an intentional marketplace pastor who co-owns a real estate business known as the Porter Williams Team. Robby is married to Amy since 2001, and has two children Hadyen (13) and Eden (9). They live in Braselton, and love their community that God has placed them in. Their heartbeat is to love Jesus and love people. The mission of Multiply Church is to multiply God’s Kingdom by being and making disciples everywhere. They are a group of imperfect people actively figuring out how to trust Jesus and accomplish the mission.
What Just Happened?
Since titles and details are so important during these types of events, let us discuss a few of those. My wife and I have been married a little less than 14 years. We have two sons; both 12 years old, they are a week apart. Do not hurt yourself on doing the math and trying to figure that part out, biological, and adopted. I also have a soon to be 15-year-old son from a previous marriage. Talk about a family with many dynamics.
Perhaps stopping by and listening to my story, will help you identify when God guides your journey to go through the next construction zone, even if you have to take the next exit first. After all, it is His plan.
First Baptist Cleveland
Thoughts for Young Men
Manning was called into full-time ministry during his freshman year of college at the age of 19. Since then, he has served in full and part time ministry working with children, youth and college students. He has been serving at Cleveland First Baptist Church since July 2015.
Manning grew up in Biloxi, Mississippi where he met his wife, Jennifer, in the youth group at First Baptist Church of Biloxi, MS, and after high school, Manning earned his Associates degree at Gulf Coast Community College, his Bachelors degree at William Carey University and his Masters of Divinity in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Manning and Jennifer have three children-William, Emily and Matthew. In his personal time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children at home, sporting events and family vacations.
When it comes to ministry, nothing excites him more than seeing students come to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and seeing their live changed.
